Abstract
Marking is the activity through which I extend my inner reality into outer reality: the marking of surfaces with pencil and the marking of space with papier macM objects. The artwork created from this process combines visual elements extracted from maps, archeological fragments, decaying walls, and geology. Together, space, line, stone, and fragment create abstract extensions of mind, a place for quiet and contemplation.
