Abstract
The purpose of this project was to develop a survey instrument that will determine whether administrative reporting structures in small colleges and universities influence educational programming and outreach in small college and university art museums. The objectives for the projects were: 1. To investigate and research methods of gathering information using surveys and questionnaires. 2. To conduct fact finding interviews with museum professionals as well as with college and university administrators and museum personnel. 3. To develop a survey instrument that will measure the impact of administrative reporting structures on types and levels of educational programming and outreach in small college and university art museums.
