Abstract
The purpose of this master's project is to promote increased and improved online access to the collections information held by museums and to encourage museums to participate in inter-institutional collaborations that result in the integration of online cultural heritage resources. Specifically, I have studied a model collaborative effort, the Museums and the Online Archive of California project, and based on my findings, authored an article for publication in Spectra, the quarterly journal of the Museum Computer Network.
