Abstract

The primary focus of this study is African-American women leaders of the 2 Is' century, in the context of the workplace as products of the Civil Rights movement, affirmative action programs, and Black Feminism to name a few. Notably, the terms African-American and Black are used interchangeably as to reference people of African ancestry (Webster, 2003). Other key definitions are included in Appendix A at the end of this paper.
