dc.description.abstractThe main goals of this final project are to provide information about San Francisco Bay Area Community Art Centers and to bring about a better understanding of community art centers in general and their significance as cultural institutions. The San Francisco Bay Area comprises the regions of Alameda, Contra Costa, Mann, Napa, San Francisco, San Mateo, Santa Clara, Solano, and Sonoma counties. Alameda, Contra Costa, San Francisco, and Santa Clara counties are discussed in this paper.
