| dc.description.abstract | The story that follows is my road map, including the signposts, complete with detours as I relive and recover from the motorcycle accident which abruptly brought me to a fork in my road. It is in part about a denial which caused my life to become chaotic. I use the concept of a paradigm as a frame of reference to crawl out of the chaos and denial. Learning about the concepts of a paradigm, a paradigm gap, and a paradigm shift helped me re-identify with my former misfit, artistic self and helped me adapt to a major change in my life. I will share the affirming recognition of a series of synchronistic events, which helped me creatively solve problems and feel less fearful of the unknowable future. In summary, I will give some accounts of people who responded to the illustrations of my story. Perhaps, most importantly, I am here to tell, via my own story, that our powerlessness and passivity in regards to expressing and using our full creative potential, in all aspects and in all of our endeavors, is unnecessary. We have the means within ourselves to create the kind of full expansive life we want. It is my intention that my story will act as an encouragement to everyone involved in life's process, to honor their incarnation and to trust enough to be who they are. | |
