dc.description.abstract | This chapter is a report on a study-in-process conducted at an institution of higher learning in the western United States. The study examines the degree to which instructional assessment practices, such as the industry analysis paper, affect learning outcomes and student learning results in a graduate business program. Greater numbers of working professionals are in need of professional skills and competencies that will help them immediately excel in their careers. As a result, business faculty and instructional designers are therefore invited to create assessments that utilize industry relevant tools and techniques. Initial results from the study are included along with findings and discussion. | |
