I have discovered that by dropping into the creative unconscious depths, we can transform our experiences. Understanding and healing can emerge out of pain. In the process of art, pain becomes a sacred wound which opens the way to a mythical meeting. There is a magical image of power and blessing within each of us, which holds the seeds of personal growth and healing. You may meet her in a dream, or in a drawing. Srie lives in the psyche. Her name is Aphrodite, the goddess of love and beauty, of sexuality and creativity, the goddess of transformation. This is the story of my encounter with her, of what she has revealed to me, and how I have changed.
