Abstract
The scope of my thesis will include an investigation into various forms, patterns, and content which have been this writer's experience for the past sixteen years of observation. Particular emphasis will be placed upon artistic considerations--I am an artist. Frequent references to known research will be included, and when variances in the actual experiences of this artist occur, relating to currently available information, such differences will be carefully recorded here.
Focus will be taken on the relationship between art and the inner mental visual processes of the artist. We will consider together the difference between working with information from the conscious level imagination we use daily, and working with information from the same individual's hypnagogic and hypnopompic imagery.
