Abstract

With the massive smart technology market potential, the future seems bright and exciting for many technology companies. Emergence of this new smart technology market, and the seeming endless possibilities of smart appliances will be creating a highly competitive and prospective market. As of now, it is not clear whether Apple will take its previous leadership position back. As the lack of recent substantial innovation, and the subsequent fall of the company's stock prices have tarnished the company's untouchable image, and have created doubts among Apple's loyal consumers base. In order for Apple to make a come back, the company ought to expand the breath of target market on its current products, hone in on some new groundbreaking new products, and should not forget that the culture of innovation is the only reason that it got to where it once was (Asmus, 2012).
