Abstract
Health challenges arising from too high levels of stress have become epidemic in American society, and conventional treatment options do not always provide a solution, allowing problems to escalate. Alternative approaches, such as Traditional Chinese Medicine, can be helpful but not always culturally relevant or easy to use. This paper provides an integrative health education program for the adult population, focusing on stress relief through self-care and self-empowerment. By blending the ideals of Conventional Medicine and Traditional Chinese Medicine, my program offers holistic education and safe, effective self-care healing approaches for a Western audience, bridging the gap between intervention and prevention, East and West, dualism and holism, body and mind.
