Abstract
The Balboa Park Cultural Partnership is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit membership organization based in San Diego, California. As a peerless business model, the Partnership works to collaboratively serve and represent its 27 member institutions, each a unique cultural institution of different size, discipline, and mission. Seven years since its incorporation, the Balboa Park Cultural Partnership is currently looking to place a new Executive Director while many of its programs are growing in considerable scope. In this case study, I will first provide an overview of the Partnership and its current transition, then I will present possible solutions to ease this transition, and finally, from a systems point of view, I will justify my recommendation.
