Abstract

The purpose of the master's project was to promote the of use of video as an interpretive tool for presenting Native American artists' and curators' viewpoints of contemporary Native American art in art museums. The product for the master's project was a video involving Native American artists and curators interpreting their own and other specific Native American art. All aspects of the master's project, including the production of the video were undertaken by Native Americans, the goal being to promote intertribal dialogue about Native American art.
